The patient had fillings that were done years ago to close a space between the upper front teeth. They were starting to wear away on the back. She also had silver fillings on the lower back teeth that were breaking. We raised the bite to give her more room and reduce future issues with wear and breakage. This was accomplished with porcelain crowns on the upper front teeth and crowns on the upper and lower back teeth.
